This year is said to be one of the most important years for Samsung and Huawei Company. This is because they have planned to introduce the all-new foldable smartphone for the users. The main thing about this phone is that it comes with a flexible display and the names of the phone by both of the company are Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
It is seen that Samsung has already planned to launch its all-new foldable phone, but the issues with the foldable smartphone screen arise. It is seen that due to this issue, the company has then delayed its launch program in late April month. The company then issues a statement in which they mentioned that they would investigate this and for now all the shipments and launching of this phone are put off. Till now there is no an official announcement from the company for the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone.
As the company has delayed the launching of its foldable smartphone, it is seen that the people at Huawei become happy from this development. The main reason behind this happiness is due to the delay Huawei Company’s Mate X can get launch before the Samsung Foldable smartphone. But to the trouble for the company, it is now seen that the US Government and Google blacklisted the company last week only. By doing this, it means that Huawei will not get any type of hardware or even software support for its all-new devices from now on.
In a statement from Google on Sunday, it said that Google has complied with the US government order. But it is seen that US Commerce Department has now allowed Google as well as other companies to start offering Huawei with software updates for eth Huawei products that the company is now producing and some are with the customers as well. The current Huawei devices will get all the recent updates from Google, and this will be given to the smartphones till 19th August 2019. But if you look at the exceptions, you will see that this will not cover any future devices which also include Mate X foldable smartphone.
After all this development, it is seen that Huawei is now making its operating system for its mobile phones. But this operating system will not be ready to use for the new devices, and till now they did not have tested their operating system, so there is no way to know whether it is going to work on its foldable smartphone or not.
This shows that all these developments are now starting to trouble the companies’ vision. Along with Samsung, other companies to have proven their prototype for many years. But with the introduction of a foldable smartphone, it is not clear till now that these foldable displays will be lasting forever like another smartphone. It is also said that the condition inside the testing lab is quite different than the real world scenario. So, there are no clear results about this all for a long run basis.
