The International Space Station (ISS) will receive more than 5,500 pounds of cargo containing small bits of human organs from Cape Canaveral on Saturday morning. The schedule has been set up to launch SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The cargo will reach the ISS by SpaceX.
The time is set to determine the existence of human biology in a unique environment space. Scientists believe that this part of medical knowledge will serve as a frontier for the world to know if disease on Earth could be a cure or not in a much better way. The study “Tissue Chips in Space Initiative” is a humongous start to work on this project.
According to the daily outlets, the International Space Station (ISS) would be getting the track of four tissue chips sent by the scientists. Out of the different human cells, the tissue chips will contain various parts of the human body, which include blood-brain barrier, lung and bone marrow, bone and cartilage, and kidneys.
