TUCSON, AZ – Tucson Police has identified the three found dead in a southeast side home on July 1. The deceased have been identified as Jaiden White, age 14, Talmadge Holmes Jr., age 18, and 44-year-old Willona Ametrice White.
Their bodies were found in a home in the 7600 block of East Toronto Street, near Stella and Prudence.
According to the Tucson Police Department, on the morning of July 1, 2021, the Public Safety Communications Department received a 911 call at approximately 7:45 a.m. reporting a medical emergency. Tucson Fire Medics were dispatched to the residence. When they arrived they found the two teens in the home with gunshot trauma. Medics immediately requested police. Once officers arrived, they located Ms. White deceased, also with gunshot trauma in the home.
Detectives believe all three victims resided in the home.
Investigators are actively pursuing leads but have not determined a motive; however, it appears that the shooting was an isolated incident and the residence may have been targeted.
