Maricopa Man Gets Nearly 17 Years For Homicide, Shot Victim Multiple Times

PHOENIX, Ariz. – A Maricopa man, Brent Edwin Justin, was sentenced in federal court this week to nearly 17 years in prison. He previously pleaded guilty to the Second Degree Murder of a victim of on the Gila River Indian Community.

According to the Department of Justice, on March 1, 2020, Justin shot the victim multiple times resulting in the victim’s death.

Justin, age 32, is  an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian Community.

Justin’s prison sentenced is to be followed by five years of supervised release.
