Last week, Denver Police were on patrol when they stopped a vehicle for misuse of license plates. The investigation showed that the female driver had two outstanding warrants for her arrest.
The male passenger was determined to be a career criminal and felon. A search of the vehicle returned a duffle bag containing a loaded handgun, a magazine and bullets. The male passenger was identified as 30 year-old Marqus Johnson, and he was arrested for possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
The driver was identified as Frances Martinez. Martinez was processed for her warrants for fraud and also arrested for possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
