UPDATE: At approximately 2:00 a.m., missing children Bailey and Braidin Begay were successfully located. The children were found in a remote area south of Dolores, Colorado. The children were found unharmed.
ANETH, UT – The Navajo Division of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for two children taken by their father, Brandon Begay, 35. At approximately 4:21 p.m., the children were reported missing by their mother. The children were taken from their home located 15 miles north of Aneth store in Aneth, Utah.
The children were last seen leaving their residence with the suspect, Brandon Begay, who is the father of the missing children who were reported to have made threats of self-harm. The children are believed to be in danger if not located. It is unknown which direction of travel he may have gone, however, he may possibly be traveling towards Cortez, Colorado, Moab, Utah, Telluride, Colorado, or the Delores, Colorado mountain area.
