Telegraph Fire Continues To Grow, Forcing More Evacuations

Extremely volatile fire behavior overnight pushed the Telegraph Fire further east, across State Highway 77, forcing El Capitan, Dripping Springs and Beverly Hills to be evacuated Monday morning.

The fire has consumed 104,755 acres so far. Containment of the fire decreased from 76% to 68%.

Over 1,000 firefighter are battling the blaze.

The Red Cross has set up a shelter for evacuees at High Desert Middle School, 4000 High Desert Drive, in Globe.
