Reward Offered For San Juan FBI Agent’s Muggers, Failed Carjackers

SAN JUAN — The FBI is offering a reward for anyone with information about three men who allegedly mugged and FBI San Juan special agent. The reward of up to $25,000 is for information resulting in the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individuals responsible for the armed robbery and attempted carjacking.

According to the FBI, on November 23, 2019, at 10:00 p.m., three men in a black Mercedes Benz approached the FBI San Juan special agent on the corner of Cacique Street and Las Americas Avenue in the Ocean Park community of San Juan. The men held the agents at gunpoint and made away with his wallet, FBI credentials, and official duty weapon.

The FBI is asking the public, with information on the identity and location of the men responsible for this crime, as well as the whereabouts of the stolen FBI property, to come forward.
