Vaping has caused teens to visit hospitals in the Midwest. The reasons are yet to be discovered. According to a leading outlet, vaping has resulted in hospitalizing 22 people in Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The Live Science reports have confirmed the risk of vaping, but the real reasons have not come out in picture for now.
The statement recorded from the Illinois Department of Public Health said that the patients admitted about vaping are coughing, going short of breath, vomiting and turning fatigued sometimes. The conditions of the teens had been even crucial before reaching to the services of the hospital. A case where one teen was induced with a coma that is medically performed as fluids began to collect in the lungs. It is still not clear behind the common relation of symptoms that patients of vaping are sharing. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are working religiously to find out the real reasons behind vaping. Along with the CDC, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is working to detect the e-cigarettes used by the teens. The chemicals present in the e-cigarettes needs to be examined what was said by the CDC and FDA.
Dr. Ngozi Ezike, director of the Illinois Department of Public Health, said that the potential level of causing harm to teens has increased with vaping. The short term parameters and long term effects of vaping need to be studied properly. E-cigarettes have been a sign of ready defoliation of health in many prospects. The use of it is seen more in teens than in other age groups. The health officers should be approaching the government to take the necessary steps as soon as possible. The real reason behind the deadening situation of patients of vaping will be released shortly after careful observation and examination.
