Twitch streamer Tfue’s contract with FaZe Clan got leaked

Earlier in this week, Tfue is a 21-year-old Fortnite pro who is said to be one of the most popular streamers on Twitch. He has sued FaZe, which is an esports organization in which he is currently signed.

In the suit, it is seen that the contract that exists between the FaZe and Tenney is said to be illegal and oppressive. He argued by saying that FaZe is currently violating California’s Talent Agency Act.  But till now FaZe has not confirmed about the veracity. After all, these claims, the owner of FaZe said in the Twitter post that Turner’s initial contract was very disappointing and FaZe offered him some best and favorable contracts for the last years. In another development, Banks too have said that they will release the copies of contract that FaZe has tried with Tenney.

On 27th April 2018, the contract was signed, and it was initially set to last for about six months, but in the contract clause, it has got a 36 automatic extension as long as Tenney participates in tournaments and other training sessions for FaZe. As per the contract, Tenney directly gets pay from the team, which is $2,000 per month, but it comes as other income which is generated in connection with Gamer’s Services.

As the lawsuit has now made into the public, it is seen that FaZe has entered several things about Tenney’s contract. In its statement, which is published in Kotaku on Monday, it said that this organization is said to be collected no money for Tenney’s Twitch account, tournament winnings, YouTube or even social media presence.  The FaZe said that they had got only $60,000 from this partnership while Tenney has made millions during this period.

In the next statement from FaZe, it said that about their brand deal in which it posted a screenshot of the 80-20 contract partnership.  But it said that the clan has never collected the money from the members as this clause is from the previous legal team.  They added by saying that since last September, they are trying hard to improve the contract with him, but all this have either ignored or got rejected.

Banks said on its Twitter account that he has got doubts over the Tenney’s motivations on Twitter and also on YouTube.  Banks said that all these things are not for standing up for the right things, but it is Tfue’s dad who believed that this is present in the best interest and it can be done by stopping at nothing to accomplish it.

In response to this, all Keemstar said that FaZe’s CEO Lee Trink is said to be expressed all his concerns about the Tenney plans to get out of the contract and to create the competing organization. He said that Tenney’s contract as the starter contract and said that before getting into something big, all need to start from somewhere. As per Twitch Tracker, it said that Tenney has started to stream before getting a partner with FaZe. After that, his fan base has increased at an alarming rate, and all this is not done by FaZe alone.
