Sinaloa Man Arrested, Fentanyl And Cash Seized

PHOENIX, AZ – Arizona Department of Public Safety detectives with the Pinal County Criminal Targeting Unit (CTU) concluded a week-long investigation in Phoenix on Monday, August 2nd, 2021, resulting in the arrest of 24-year-old Daniel Humberto Anguiano Cota, of Sinaloa, Mexico.

Officers seized a load of fentanyl, worth about half a million dollars on the street.

A subsequent search of Cota’s current residence also turned up large sums of cash and cocaine packaged for sale.

Cota was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on charges including possession, sale and transportation of a narcotic drug, money laundering, conspiracy, and illegal control of an enterprise.
