The multinational US computer technology company, Dell wasn’t sure when the new version of the XPS 13 will be ready. However, the good news is that the 2-in-one laptop is finally here. At least, the tech experts are suggesting that it is “almost” here. Recently, Dell went through a conversation with Engadget and told about the newly improved version of the convertible laptop.
Dell told Engadget that the new version of 2-in-1 Dell XPS would commence sale across the US. Moreover, Dell also said that the laptop would be available for purchase from the 8th August around 9 AM. The starting price of the new laptop begins at $1,000. On the other hand, one of the best features of the new Dell XPS 13 is that it would feature 10th-gen Intel Core processors.
According to tech-heads at Dell, the Dell XPS is the first to sport the 10-th Gen Intel chipset. Dell also said that it would bring a 13.4-inch touch screen alongside Dolby Vision.
The specs and features of new Dell XPS 13
People who want to get their hands on the new laptop can upgrade the screen according to their requirements. Dell is providing the users an option to upgrade from 1,920×1,200 to a vibrant 4K display panel. The XPS 13 comes with a new i7 processor along with 32 GB of RAM. Dell did also choose to ditch the conventional HDD; instead, it will provide the users with 1TB SSD.
The specs of the laptop are quite promising. Dell promises that the laptop is perfect for the professional of various fields. However, if people want, they can still choose the old XPS 13. The only upper hand, the older model, has over the new is that it has a big trackpad and larger keys. Nevertheless, the new Dell XPS flaunts much more metal chassis than the previous model. If the laptop is a hit, it will be the first hybrid PC which the experts prefer over the conventional ones.
